Student RepresentatIon

Student representation in our faculty is carried out in accordance with the Ege University Student Council Directive and relevant higher education legislation. The main objective is to meet the educational, health, sports, and cultural needs of our students and to protect their rights in these areas at the institutional level.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Student Representative

• Communication Bridge: Establishes an organic link between the students, Department Heads, and the Dean's Office, conveying students' academic and administrative issues, demands, and expectations to the authorized bodies.
• Representation in Boards: Attends Faculty Board or Administrative Board meetings where student-related issues (education, exam regulations, campus life, etc.) are discussed, representing students in relevant agenda items, voting, and expressing opinions.
• Event Coordination: Contributes to academic and social development by working in coordination with student clubs and societies affiliated with the Department of Health, Culture, and Sports for student-oriented events held within the faculty.
• Information Flow: Ensures that administrative and academic decisions taken by the management bodies are announced to the student body in a transparent, accurate, and timely manner.
